Beginning Tuesday, May 6 and Thursday,
May 8, John Greenan will provide
group lessons from 9:30 am to 10:30 am
followed by one hour of organized round
robin play. This program will run every week for 8
weeks. During the
months of July and August, players may
organize their own round robins.
WEEKLY GROUP LESSONS
BEGINNER and INTERMEDIATE PLAYERS ONLY - Monday May 5, until August 24th
ADVANCED PLAYERS that are able to consistently serve
and volley - Wednesday May 7, 7:00 - 10:00 pm, until August 27.
John Greenan will provide doubles strategy
for one hour of lessons or warm-up
from 7:00 to 8:00 pm, followed by two
hours of organized round robin play.
This is an excellent way for all players to
increase their skill level and meet other
players.

The interurban teams play Tuesday nights from May to August, travelling to Stratford, Waterloo, and
Guelph. League games consist of mixed and doubles play (four men and four women per evening). There
are snacks and a social time afterward.
If you are interested in participating on either the Division 1 or Division
2 team, be sure to come to our Interurban Organizational Meeting on Tuesday May 6, 2008 at 7 p.m.
at the courts/club house. Bring your tennis stuff if the weather is co-operating!

We are looking for an interurban captain for Division 3. If anyone is interested please contact Gwen.
Starting Thursday May 22 from 7:00 to 8:30 pm or 8:30 to 10.00 pm.
If you would like to play in this clubhouse
league, please check it off on the registration
form.
These games are suitable
for intermediate and advanced players.
The Team Captains will contact you, and
you will receive a schedule for the 15
weeks of play, as well as a phone list of
all the other players and spares.

group lessons and organized round
robin play for juniors aged 6 to 18 years.
This program is available at no additional
cost during May and June for eight weeks
and consists of two, 1 hour group lessons
each week as well as a two hour round robin every Friday from
4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. For intermediate players
only.
You must let John know by Wednesday.

The days and times for junior lessons are:
Monday & Wednesdays OR
Tuesday & Thursdays
4:00 pm to 5:00 pm (6-11 yrs.)
5:00 pm to 6:00 pm (12-18 yrs.)
Friday - Round Robin: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
At an additional cost, John Greenan will
run full day and half day tennis camps
during the months of July and August.
Juniors who do not take out a full season
membership will be required to pay court
fees during the tennis camp.
John Greenan will be responsible for billing
these court fees, in addition to the fee
for the camp.

Non-members may
book lessons during non-prime time and
are required to pay a club/court fee to
Victoria Park Tennis Club of $12.00 per
court, per hour, or a $60.00 mini membership
for unlimited court use for tennis
lessons.
